Ngày 30/09/2010, Chi cục Bảo vệ thực vật thành phố Hồ Chí Minh đã khai giảng lớp huấn luyện chuyên môn về thuốc bảo vệ thực vật để cấp giấy Chứng nhận chuyên môn cho các tổ chức, cá nhân tham gia buôn bán thuốc BVTV. Đợt huấn luyện bắt đầu từ ngày 30/09/2009 đến ngày 20/01/2011.

Lớp huấn luyện chuyên môn về thuốc bảo vệ thực vật nhằm triển khai một số văn bản pháp luật về Bảo vệ và Kiểm dịch thực vật (BV & KDTV), giúp cho các tổ chức, cá nhân kinh doanh thuốc BVTV chấp hành đúng các quy định của Nhà nước trong lĩnh vực BV & KDTV.

Nội dung các văn bản được triển khai trong chương trình học: Pháp lệnh BV & KDTV; Nghị định 58/2002/NĐ-CP; Quy định về Quản lý thuốc bảo vệ thực vật; Tiêu chuẩn cơ sở cửa hàng buôn bán thuốc BVTV; Quy định xử phạt vi phạm hành chính trong lĩnh vực BV & KDTV; Quy định xử phạt vi phạm hành chính trong lĩnh vực bảo vệ môi trường; Quy định xử phạt vi phạm hành chính trong lĩnh vực thương mại; Quy định về việc cấp giấy chứng chỉ hành nghềsản xuất, gia công, sang chai, đóng gói và buôn bán thuốc BVTV; An toàn trong kinh doanh, lưu chứa và lưu thống thuốc BVTV; Luật khiếu nại tố cáo; Những hiểu biết cơ bản về thuốc BVTV; Sử dụng thuốc BVTV an toàn, hiệu quả; Một số sâu bệnh hại chính trên cây trồng,…

Nội dung chương trình học sẽ được chuyển tải cho các học viên thông qua các bài giảng của Thanh tra Cục BVTV, Thanh tra Sở Nông nghiệp và PTNT, chuyên viên Sở Tài nguyên - Môi trường, Thanh tra chuyên ngành, cán bộ kỹ thuật và cán bộ Phòng Quản lý an toàn thực phẩm Chi cục BVTV.
